Happy New Year! Here’s hoping 2010 will be as great a year for 9/11 truth activism as 2009 was!
We were back at the Rideau Center this month with 300 DVDs to hand out. There were only three of us this time; there’s been a nasty cold virus going around town lately.
Despite the cold temperature, we managed to hand out most of our discs, and had some people really excited to see us. Many thanks to Mr. Anonymous who we last saw in September; he took a bunch of discs and went all up and down the street with them, which in retrospect would have been a great way to stay warm!
See you in February!
Interview with Derek from Kitchener 9/11 Truth
Derek from Kitchener 9/11 Truth gave Mark from Truth Action Ottawa a great interview about his experiences starting up a 9/11 truth chapter in his community. Derek is a great example of someone standing up to fill the void in his community; no one was handing out discs in his area yet, so Derek decided to take the initiative.

CBC Audience Relations – “We know all about Climategate”

Well, it’s November 30, 2009, a full 11 days into the unfolding Climategate scandal. I started following this story the day it broke and at the same time, I began closely monitoring the transmissions coming out of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation to see what they had to say about it. I tuned in both CBC television and CBC Radio. I waited patiently for the CBC to mention this topic. A full week passed and still no mention!
Oh, they were talking about “Climate Change” alright. Daily. Repeatedly actually. Over and over.
They had David Suzuki and Al Gore on CBC Radio’s “Q” on Wednesday, November 25.

The show doesn’t allow call-ins so it’s quite safe and controlled for any guest, even the ones that aren’t pushing a taxpayer financed hoax based on fabricated data. Every question can be carefully screened, including questions submitted by the audience so David and Al had nothing to worry about. The CRU e-mails never came up.
Al Gore got a spot on ‘The Hour‘ with George Stroumboulopoulos. He wasn’t a guest or anything. In fact, Eugene Levy was the guest and he’s a huge Canadian icon sure to bring in a whole slew of viewers. Al Gore just wandered in via recorded video at exactly 17 minutes into the broadcast.

After getting everyone to stand down by telling them that “No, Steven Harper isn’t going to attend the Copenhagen Summit”, the CBC did a complete 180 and said “Yes. Steven Harper WILL in fact be attending the Summit”

You can see that the climategate e-mails aren’t mentioned here either.
When the CBC eventually did cover the topic, it was a full 10 days into the scandal. They reposted an Associated Press artcle that was originally posted on November 23

They got over 500 comments in the first 24 hours so I KNOW my fellow Canadians were hungry for this story, even if it was a rehashed report that was debunked the moment the source code was inspected.
So I got fed up and I called. Here is my message.
